As a lot of people hit some major EXP milestones, I think its time for this discussion. I appreciate a number of game systems aren't there yet, and atm I happy to consider the EXP gain from quests, story arcs and stuff like commissions as placeholder values. However it feels like the current levelling experience is exactly what Intrepid professes to hate in one of those older interviews (see for the relevant clip below). We are literally grinding mobs over and over again.

Side note: I don't mind slower levelling, but the exponential growth of the EXP required for a level is rather silly at higher levels. I suspect (as I haven't tried it much) crafting is also quite grind intensive.
This also compounds badly with the gear and level power scaling issues, which are being discussed here:
