Convince me!

Hey all. I'd like some good and honest arguments in support of this game to convince me to swap from WoW classic.
Here is what I currently do and like about wow:
1. I have two nights a week blocked out where I raid at a fairly high level (progression on heroic raids and expectations to clear them all at the highest level before the phase ends)
2. I raid with a 10 person team as part of a larger guild with an active discord
3. Progression through both bosses and gear is very enjoyable and rewarding
Questions:
1.How can some of this translate to ashes if/when it comes out?
2. As a working adult, how do I schedule my work weeks to have two nights a week of 3-ish hours where we can make progress on difficult raid bosses when there is no instanced content?
3. Will we really need to fight off other raid groups in order to even access the boss we are "progging" on each week?
I really want to be convinced and am looking for an upgraded experience from WoW, especially with the re-release of wow classic servers. The game is old, buggy, under-supported and barely staying alive by dragging their aging clientele through ground-hog-day-like recurring cycles of old content. Please... give me a reason to convince my guild to move to this game!
Much appreciated

If you join a Node of likeminded people, particularly any who are willing to assist with cutting down the preparation time requirements for you joining the higher level boss content, you should be able to match your WoW experience to an extent.

There is still a chance of instanced content, and perhaps content that is, at minimum, trigger spawned by some action that you would be able to coordinate to some extent.
3. Will we really need to fight off other raid groups in order to even access the boss we are "progging" on each week?
90:10 odds the answer to this is 'yes'.
If your guild is enjoying WoW, you should only try to convince them to hop over if there are multiple PvP-enjoyers in it with more time than you've said you have.
Sorry that I couldn't provide the convincing, but hopefully the context is still good.
Anyone at all that wants any elements of gameplay that in any way resembles PvE progression play simply won't find that in Ashes.
I wish that was not the case, I think the game would be better if it existed, I think the game would last longer with a higher population if it had those elements - but I'm not making the game.
This game is far more PvP than either PvE or PvX.
You will have "safe/instanced" areas to do PvP based Battleground and Siege progression, but not so for PvE Raid based progression.
If you need 'convincing', then don't bother. Just wait for the game to get further into development, and then come back and re-evaluate.
Is Classic wow at Cataclysm expansion? If so then i doubt much convincing is needed since Wow suck hard.
The expansions before Cata were good, but after this the game went from bad to worse. They destroyed the PVP in the game. You are stuck with doing the same content 300 times. Like no matter if the content is enjoyable for the first 5 times you do it. After you have cleared it 300 times you know the location of every stone and tree in the raid. No idea how people can enjoy doing the same thing over and over again. Like even the strategy to clear the boss are absolutely the same every time, nothing changes from the previous to the next clear.
PvE focused: WoW / FFXIV / Lineage II
Sandbox: Ultima Online / Darkfall / Mortal Online
Big Influence: SNES Fighting games / Starcraft / Diablo II / Smite
From the likes of the first May in 2025 onwards, probably.

Just don’t let anyone talk you into joining the Alpha if you’re looking for things to do and content to play, because we’re not quite there yet. Right now, it’s all about logging in, glitching into stones, writing detailed bug reports, and then moving on to glitch into trees, walls, or even the sky – and bug reporting all of it. Found an exploit? Report that too. That’s the experience.
Aside from that? Grind mobs for 70 hours until you hit the level cap, then… back to bug reporting.
