Alpha Two Update Notes - November 22, 2024
Here is what's changed for Alpha Two since last weekend's test. As a reminder, if you come across bugs during this test, please report them to us in-game using /bug

CHARACTER, ARCHETYPE, AND COMBAT
- Guard will now properly cancel weapon combos during windup and cancel frames
- Added damage and heal dampening to experience debt. Experience tooltips should now show the dampening amounts
- Added a 24 hour cooldown for characters before they can join a new Guild after leaving a Guild
- Added additional PvP options to the in-game menu
- Updated the trade window to require two steps when removing items
- Fixed a bug that could cause some characters to lose progress (persistence)
- Fixed a bug allowing players to kill others without getting Corruption if they were participating in similar but separate events
- [Tank] - Changed the mitigation provided by the Tank's Courage ability from being additive to being multiplicative
CARAVANS
- Caravan Masters should now work correctly after a character loses a Caravan
- You should now be able to select and view Caravans awaiting deployment
- Fixed a bug preventing Caravans from being purchased if a previous Caravan was deleted from a character’s inventory
ENEMY NPCs
- Adjusted the respawn rate for all named NPCs
- Fixed a bug that caused issues with how Cyclops and Tumok the Wretched leashed
- Fixed a bug causing Tumok the Wretched to become unresponsive when he was leashing in certain situations
- Giants should no longer become stuck when surrounded by players
- Increased the overall damage output of Giants
NODES
- Fixed issues with Node Tax Payment popping up even after taxes have been paid
- Fixed issues with Node Election timing caused by realm downtime
NODE WARS AND GUILD WARS
- Node Territory Wars - The winning Node will now take 20% of the losing Node's gold and commodities. Also, an additional 5% of the gold and commodities will be lost.
- Added rewards for characters participating in Guild Wars and Node Wars. These rewards will be delivered via in-game mail
- Added a surrender button to Guild Wars that becomes available one hour after a Guild War has started
- Guild Wars and Node Wars user interface has had several improvements
- Added a new Guild War tracker in the objective tracker display
- Changed the Crafting cost of Guild War declaration scrolls
- Fixed a bug with Lumberjacking PvP Guild Wars. Characters will now be properly flagged for PvP
WORLD AND ENVIRONMENT
- Changed the placement of the Portal Ruins Embershrine to prevent characters from getting stuck
- Changed Citadel of Steel Bloom so different enemies spawn depending on the time of day
- Fixed a lighting issue that caused the Tower of Carphin to appear darker than intended
- Fog will now be lighter at night
- Updated wind behavior
ADDITIONAL CHANGES
- Changed how Glint is rewarded. It will now condense Glint by improving the rarity of Glint rewarded
- The minimap header will now show when you have mail
- Droppings should now always drop at the same rarity level
- Changed the text for some tooltips
- Fixed a bug that caused some notifications to be displayed to a single character instead of the intended party
- Fixed a bug causing issues with interacting with things in-game
- Fixed a bug causing characters to become stuck when interacting with the Carpentry vendor
- Fixed a bug that caused some characters to fall through the ground when logging in
- Fixed a bug with treasure map loot piles not properly spawning
- Fixed issues with Pallas Cat mount having incorrect maximum health
- Fixed issues that could cause Cargo storage to become invisible
- Fixed issues with the Unstuck command not working properly
- Fixed a vendor gold exploit when selling duplicated items
- Fixed an exploit allowing storage items to be duplicated
- Fixed a client crash related to horse animations
- Fixed several issues that cause server crashes
- Fixed some memory leaks
