Please give us one OCE server

I've been playing every weekend since Alpha 2 started and have been loving the game. I've also reported many bugs during this time and seen some of them patched in the weekly patch notes.

There is currently 4 US servers and 4 EU servers. And zero in the Southern Hemisphere.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for ONE single OCE server to cater to the players in both the OCE and SEA regions. There's more than enough players connecting from these regions to fill out a server for testing purposes from the numbers that I've seen posted around.

Being forced to play on 300+ ping is awful to play on, and when the server is lagging it's straight up unplayable.

And before anyone says it's an alpha test and not a fully released game, I'm well aware of that, I spent $400 years ago because I had faith in the game and wanted to see it come to fruition. I bought alpha access because I wanted to help test and find bugs.

Which brings us to the point that instead of giving OCE a single server, they instead opened two "Fresh Start" servers. That's not something that is needed in an Alpha test, "Fresh Start" servers are something you see in a fully released game, not an alpha test. Players can make new characters on the servers that have been up for the last month, you don't need a new server for that. I have 3 characters myself, and I see new characters being made every weekend I play.

We're not asking for 4 servers, but please give us ONE server for OCE so that the region and surrounding regions can play on a playable latency. Ideally next weekend would be amazing but even at the start of Phase 2 would be great.

Alpha testing OCE server no, but Steven did elude to there possibly being an OCE server come Beta. I doubt will see any thing down under sooner than that. But I too would appreciate even just 1 server...

I know we aren't getting them in Alpha that's the whole point of my post. It's wildly unfair the way they've done it, and the fact they brought out two fresh start servers is blatantly obvious they did it to make players happy that bought into the Alpha with the 3 phases. (as opposed to everyone else that bought it months / years ago)

The addition of those two servers was not needed. Giving an entire region (two considering SEA will obviously play OCE over NA/EU) a SINGLE server is not something outrageous to ask.

They can even go look at the statistics of how many players from OCE / SEA are in the Alpha 2 test and clearly see it's enough to fill a server up for testing.

It's also not something that would be hard to do, as they use AWS and can just deploy an instance in Sydney. (Staff can correct me if I'm wrong about using AWS for the game servers, I'm assuming they do as there's Amazon IP's all through the launcher and client. I'm too lazy to open Wireshark and login to the game right now.)
