Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Hi all.
So far having fun in AoC. Today I took some notes during my first playthrough. There's a mish-mash of bugs, opinions and optimisation comments and I'm aware a lot of the below will be/has been addressed, so please ignore where applicable. On to the list!
My specs for playing:
Laptop - ASUS TUF F15, RTX 4060, i7-12700H processor, 16gb
Character Creation:
At character creation, previewing the classes with armour on, there are graphical flashes in the armpits and thighs sections.
Hair length slider doesn't work.
No icon displays (numbers) for some of the creation tools - face shape and eyes.
When selecting "mouth" option, lower half of face dropped/elongated.
Can't zoom in on nails when amending that option.
Decals/Marking doesn't work.
No neck options on sculpt section.
Overall, enjoyed the character creation if this is its alpha state.
First login
Nice audio quality.
Introduction melody is very nice.
Resolution was auto-detected but showed incorrect resolution 1024 x 768, changed to 1080p.
Initially, stuttering occurred. Amended view distance, AA, foliage and shading to low. Optimised shadows. Frames much better but still a bit of stuttering.
Trying to change keybinds and A and D are stuck to strafe right. Reset keybinds also doesn't work. Re-tried resetting keybinds and this time it worked.
Quest item tutorial pop up but gateway medallion is not in the quest item section of the bag?
Gatewatcher Li is floating.
Set all graphics to low due to stutter.
Combat feels good. Unsure if I want to hold Q to autoattack. **Ignore as combat settings amended in settings, I feel this should be default*.
Questing need a great deal of attention - Alpha phase 3 to address this.
Other general opinions
Difficult to find some resources like copper and zinc.
Trying to get horse out of water is a nightmare.
Miraleth town emberstone misaligned with map.
Caravan flies up in the air when going over rocky rivers.
Dislike spells going on CD even when unselecting a target.
Fueling artisan stations is unnecessary, not sure I want to always keep resources on me to fuel them.
I'd like it to be a little more solo-friendly when it comes to mob density.
Mob grinding is pretty slow XP wise.
Resources (herbs, mining nodes etc.) could do with a visual identifier to show they're interactive.
Once dynamic event ends and loot taken, the event window should close on your UI.
More dynamic events would be great.
Dynamic events in nodes could set up pop up camps/vendors if succeeded?
