Exploration Notes (Nov 22-25 weekend)

In nearly every mmo I've played, I've enjoyed the challenge of taking a very underleveled character and seeing what high level areas I can get to.
Today I ran a level 4 across the map into the jungle area. A few notes related to exploration:
1. I am really enjoying the scale of the world. It feels like a big world and took a reasonable amount of time to get across the Riverlands and into the jungle.
2. When high level mobs aggro on my character, I have a chance to get away and heal myself generally, which can be fun.
3. The world feels empty of mobs. In the Riverlands on the major roads, it felt as though there was a lot of characters traversing the space. But it's so rare to run across mobs close to the road that you can very easily run across the map. It's not a challenge. There's no danger. It feels disappointing in that sense.
4. Mobs are not generally not aggro-ing. Occasionally one will start chasing, but I've run right over top of mobs easily 20 levels over me and it has done nothing. I would expect an aggro level that was more severe for low level characters, but that isn't what I found.
5. I ran across a world boss randomly. That was fun. Finding random bosses is really exciting and fun.
