Firebrand event has no reward

Obviously, I understand that Firebrand is a raid, and meant to drop raid loot for the winning team. However, given that an event circle appears, and has an objective, and anyone is free to participate, I found it odd that there was no event reward, either experience, or a glint loot box at the end?
