Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Guild Wars Abuse

Some guilds have been abusing the war system to take over world bosses.
They can just safely gather up, while another guild is fighting against the world boss, mark the top DPS/Healers, move right next to their targets, instantly declare war, easily focus down their targets, reset the boss and then leave their guild to avoid any chance of retaliation.
They can just create a new guild and repeat the process.
25g for the war cost is nothing for the chance of getting a BIS worldboss weapon.

-You should not be able to join or leave your guild while you are at war. War should be guild vs guild and not XYZs alliance best PvPers vs guild
-The war should end as soon as you reach the 100 Points or after a certain set time
-It should take atleast a few minutes before the war starts after the declaration

    Clever. This is similar to other threads gaming the guild system. Feels like Ashes is playing cultural catch-up to how quickly folks can organize outside of game constraints to take advantage of the system (as it stands).

    Welcome to alpha, abuse of poorly implemented game feature and game mechanics, exploits and glitches, farming bugged out bosses, item dupes galore. All actively taking advantage of many of those who are aware of those. I seriously doubt they removed all duped and gained thanks to glitches resources and gear.

    I also have seen few examples of weirdly high damage outputs on our server. Stuff which could be hardly explained by the power gap between common and legendary gear. At least that's what I hope what that was, because this is surely not the design intent.

    I appreciate Intrepid statements about being hard on exploiters and griefers and such, but I suspect they are overwhelmed with number of reports for bugs and other issues. Hold on to your butts, it will be a while.

    As far as I know, I think they intend to add a timer between the time you declare war and when it actually goes into affect - at some point. That is pretty standard in other multiplayer games where there are guild/clan wars.

    There should be a cooldown on declaring war on the same guild.

    Maybe add a timer for joining a guild after leaving one.

    You don't even need the 25g war scroll to declare war on another guild. Declaring Fishing Derby, Lumberjacking Race, or similar has the same effect and is MUCH cheaper, therefore abuseable.
