Sorry my normal camera set up is currently out of order, but here's a short little walkthrough where I explain what I'm using when, nothing cutting edge, just pugging steelbloom.

Should be nice for those wondering what Cleric gameplay looks like

Good info on both the mouse over and also double pressing ground targeted abilities. It's super clunky trying to click if you accidentally click a player instead of the ground.

Any reason you're not using the bountiful bless weapon and putting bless weapon on someone else?

I'm in all medium armour and using a wand but I'm curious to try out a spell shortbow. Spell great sword is fun and I might go back to that and go heavy armour in phase 2. I'm using a second focus + sceptre currently but was enjoying the greatsword.

yeah there's a reason im using bless on myself.

1.) I swear to god everytime I put it on someone else I run out of mana.
2.) the damage it adds is going to be the same, the only real variable is attack speed. spellbook/greatsword are similiar speeds for aoe application - and shortbow is probably the fastest. So currently if I'm running low on mana I can switch to my short spellbow which also has the mana infusion instead of the ward and I can recharge my mana quickly.

There could be *some* benefit for putting it on someone else, but the reality is - having the control to manage my own mana benefits the group more than maybe a little more damage if someone auto attacks more than I do; and this proposition is solidified by also leaving me with 1 whole skill point to put into something else.

I do use it that way when farming duo with a dps if they are getting low mana I usually kinda toss it back and forth - but some classes(like fighter) don't seem to need the mana. Ranger eats it like it's going out of style - but as soon as a bard is in the mix it's so much better than the mana I give that they rarely actually auto attack so I get more mileage myself. Only time it has value is when they don't have enough mana to cast abilities freely(because then the *actual* dps value of it goes up, as those abilities granted by the mana should do more than my abilities will).

Downtime is another big factor, If my mana is not being kept up by 1 dps in a group along with 5-6 others, we could slow the entire group down with downtime for a little more damage for 1 dps. No heals = no wheels, and I wanna go fast 0 downtime. I did switch back and forth a lot on that talent, but ultimately ends up on me 90% of the time.

Bountiful bless weapon is the upgrade on the left. It means you and a second party member both get mana regen.

"Whenever an ally attacks whose weapon you have blessed, you also gain Bless Weapon: Mana Regen."

It seems like you only get it when THEY proc it, hence why I mentioned the interaction with bards/classes that dont have mana issues. I did read the tooltip and was optimistic but in practice it led to me running out if mana from them not auto attacking enough.

Oh interesting. I usually put it on a ranger and I feel like I'm never hurting for mana. I definitely see the bless weapon: mana regen buff on myself a lot.
