Caravans can't be the only way to farm gold

As of right now it seems caravans are going to mostly be the soul way if farming gold, you can make up to 1000g a day just running caravans, I think this is a bad idea a because it puts you in a spot that you have to run caravans to compete and also the amount of gold they bring in will make every item on the market place extremely expensive for those who don't want to run vans
Please add a few other ways to farm gold that can be done instead by people that don't want to endure the caravan loop

And you can imagine how much you want to punch a person who tries to suggest just hitting "a and d" on the keyboard when you're wasting over an hour trying not to lose hours of spoils from grinding.
so I'm stuck at like 6 or 7 gold just selling it to the vendor because I don't really feel like losing more glint to the caravan system until I'm convinced it's fixed

The crafting marks/sigils that drop from Steel Bloom sell for about 1g each, and are fairly easily farmable if you just find a group that doesnt... well, you know, die all the time.
Rare gathering materials sell very quickly on my server (Lotharia); especially if it is western larch wood or weeping willow. Same with copper. Both are very viable ways to keep a steady income; and significantly less risky than caravan runs (depending on how you choose to run them, of course).

They aren't, strictly speaking.
You can farm materials and trade them with other players for gold.
You can do the same with item drops.
Granted the trading system is not complete, in the game, right now. I think they will be adding player-shops and item linking and better-fleshing-out trading in phase 2.
The caravan system is the best gold making system ever designed in MMOs to date. It quite literally ensures that the economy is player driven and run, and a direct counter to botting.
I hope Intrepid NEVER add ways to farm gold through grinding mobs. Bots would be destroying the economy through those ways.
