Caravan flagging for PVP

Ran into a bug with caravan pvp. We were attackers on a caravan and killed the driver of it. A non combatant player jumped into the seat and took off in the caravan. I had to get corrupted to kill the driver of the caravan because they were not an attacker or defender of the caravan itself. Any interaction with a caravan should flag you for pvp if you have not selected attacking or defending.
