I’d love to see, at some point in the future, characters sheathing their weapons before performing an emote, rather than having the weapon just disappear from their hands.
The idea is simple:
I know this kind of polish is more for later stages of development, but I wanted to share the idea now - because if I waited until then, I’d probably forget all about it.
I’d love to see, at some point in the future, characters sheathing their weapons before performing an emote, rather than having the weapon just disappear from their hands.
The idea is simple:
- When an emote is triggered, the character first sheaths their weapon.
- After the emote finishes, the weapon returns to the state it was in before the emote.
- This would help avoid the weirdness of weapons suddenly vanishing during emotes and create a more fluid experience.
I know this kind of polish is more for later stages of development, but I wanted to share the idea now - because if I waited until then, I’d probably forget all about it.
