Glorious Alpha Two Testers!
We are in the Alpha Two Phase II testing which will take place 5+ days each week.
Alpha Two testing is scheduled to happen daily until January 13, 2025 at 10PM PT. We will have periods of downtime for hotfixes and daily restarts happening at 2 AM PT for NA realms, and 2 CET for EU realms.
Starting next week, Alpha Two realms are scheduled to be online for 5+ days a week from Thursdays at 10 AM PT to Mondays at 10 PM PT. Alpha Two realms are planned to be down on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and for daily restarts. Alpha Two realms will also be brought down as updates and fixes are ready.

Benefitting from Multiple weapon skill trees at once?

So I'm not sure where the bug is or if this is intended, but I've been noticing that I'm benefitting from multiple weapon trees at the same time. To some degree that makes sense, if I'm using a greatsword and Longbow, getting a deadly finisher should give me the greatsword and bow buffs: Swordmasters Savagery and Bullseye. However, sometimes it doesn't give the greatsword buff, and unallocating swordmaster's savagery, saving, then reallocating it will let me get the buff again. Now where it get's weird is I have also leveled shortbow to 25, and while im using a longbow, sometimes I randomly benefit from ArrowStorm on the shortbow tree? I have no idea how to replicate this, or what causes it to randomly happen. So I finish a weapon combo, have Swordmaster, Heartseeker, Bullseye, and Arrowstorm? Then if I allocate a Longbow node, I lose all of them except the longbow tree nodes? There's something causing ghost allocations... I've had guildies report that having leveled the physical spell book, their sword attacks are applying chill while they now use a bow. So I suppose my question is, what on earth is intended here and what isn't? Are we supposed to benefit from every tree we've leveled and I'm sometimes not getting the benefits and that's the bug? Am I supposed to only benefit from equipped weapons? Or is me getting my greatsword buffs while using a Longbow the bug and I'm not supposed to get swordmaster's savagery at all?
