Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

why force the novice>apprentice>journeyman ect tools?

I understand the certifications. That way it takes utilizing a group of skills to make something. And, at top tier no one can do more than a couple things so its a real player economy.
What i do not understand is forcing players to upgrade their tools before they can even start. its already bottlenecked by the certifications, so where is the logic in forcing players to have a Master axe if they already have the certification? they have the skill, they have the cert, so what if they want to use an apprentice axe to cut a tree?

because you can get the certification even if the buildings don't exist. Maybe this is the part that needs to change though. You shouldn't be able to certify if there's no place to do the job.
