Thoughts on Hunting Tanning Leatherworking and Animal Husbandry

I've gotten my Hunting to Apprentice and saved all the materials used to get it there. Using the materials I've only been able to get Tanning to level 4. The only things I can use the hides on without finding recipes is River Stalker Items. They ONLY use Grem hides. So all the Spider Carcasses, Wolf Hides, Bear Hides, Raven Hides do nothing for me. I know when I reach Apprentice Tanning I can use the Wolf and Bear Hides for something.... but the issue here is the amount of experience you get here doesn't add up. I gathered enough to get to lvl 10 Hunting and all those materials only added up to Tanning lvl 4? Not to mention that Tanning requires materials from Herbalism as well which I got to lvl 3 just to do the Tanning.
Due to the materials I collected my tanning should be around lvl 8. I now the main reason for this is because with my Hunting I got a lot of animals for Animal Husbandry. The issue here is that I'm sitting with all of these Animals than can only be used at 30x slower speed than the Hides. Most of the animals I've collected I've just sold because I can't use them in Animal Husbandry as the speed I'm collecting them.
Easy fix for these issues.
Instead of starting Leather working with 3 recipes that require Grem Hide. Give us 1 recipe with Grem Hide, 1 recipe with Spider Carcasses, and 1 recipe for Raven Hide.
Also allow us to butcher the animals we've collected into carcasses like you can with the farming animals.
I know Animal Husbandry is currently in 'placeholder' status so I'm not offering any feed back to it's current state. (Although having a Uncommon/Rare/Epic/Legendary versions of mounts to have different speeds would be a nice minor tweek for the time being... just saying.

I got Farming and Weaving higher than Tanning by only making the cotton thread required for Apprentice Leather working than I did doing more Tanning than was needed to get there.
They really need to double the Tanning exp you get for Tanning.
