Processing improvements suggestions

I would like to draw the attention on processing, in particular. The current gameplay this imposes is to pretty much always gravitate around nodes or independent processing stations. The fact that 1 unit takes 1 minute is a lot. Usually, I am out and about looking for specific resources to process. It's very rare to actually have 1 bag full of only 1 resource so that it makes sense to come back and process them in bulk.
I do know that the way crafting is supposed to work is to divide the players into 3 tiers and have them work together but that's not really feasible. Gathering is quite a boring job, processing takes time and everyone actually wants the items. Couple that with the fact that not everyone is online at the same time and for a guild to progress it actually requires players having NO LIFE if they want to work together. I think that's a toxic mindset. The grinders will progress extremely fast while the more casual players will have very little chance of progressing.

The other improvements I need to draw the attention is the Job Size. Please make it an input field with a slider, not a dropdown with set job sizes. This just promotes time waste since I may have 7 resources I need to process but I can only do 1 batch of 5 and 2 individual jobs. The total time is the same, you'd think, but what this system does actually is a lot more worse than you'd think: you need to be around the area where the stations are and that means you are just wasting time in a not very productive area for leveling or gathering.

Finally, there needs to be a guide on how to do processing. There's no help, no pointers that you need fuel. Luckily I had someone from a guild telling me what the whole deal is because I was looking at that screen for minutes trying to figure out what the hell was wrong.

Really the only improvement that's needed for Processing is it needs to allow us to do Custom amounts at a time. Limiting us to 1 5 10 25 50 is just bad and feels like, honestly, more coding to the system than just receiving an inputted amount and do doing math on that.

That's just minor. Job Queues should be another thing. I need to be able to queue things even if they are processed in sequence. The fact that I have to run with mats on me from place to place and not be able to process everything at a station, even if it takes half a day, is very bad. We are playing for fun here, granted there are some rules that make it more difficult than other games, but still there should be fun involved in it. If I keep dying and losing materials it's not fun, it's frustrating. For the no lifers that wanna spend all their time gathering, be my guest, keep it as it is. I guarantee you the population will decline in an instant.
Not everyone has the time to play every day the entire day. Some people have a life to live outside of a game.
If they don't change it then it will suffer from the same faith other MMOs have.

Apprentice stations have 2 slots. You'll be able to do apprentice and novice crafting in those slots as well as a novice in the novice building at the same time.

Processors will be very dependent on what city builds their processing stations early on until we get our own freehold for it.
