All weapon skill trees are applying to character, even those not equipped

Is it intentional that I'm benefiting from weapon skill trees of weapons I do not have equipped?

For example, when I have 1-h mace and longbow equipped, I am also applying finishers from 1-h sword and short bow and great sword that I leveled up in the past.

I also seem to be stacking the block chance (from ward) and crit avoidance from all my weapon skill trees, even weapons I do not have equipped. It shows in my stat sheet.

I dropped a video in the discord under alpha-two-bug-issues.

I was told it was intentional. If you look at the descriptions on those it does say "for every finisher". i guess it is a good thing to level up those different weapon types. it does not seem to overlap with multiple bleeds, snares, daze, Ect

I don't think it is intentional for them. I believe it is supposed to be tied to skills in each individual weapon.

Its a bug for sure. None of the skill points from Melee apply to Range and vice-versa. The only things that currently apply is the multi-choice options.

If it was intended that Melee and Ranged worked in harmony then everything would apply, no?

The fact you can stack and apply finishers from weapons you don't even have equipped, or even need to have in your inventory, is also clearly unintended.
