I would like everyone to stop calling a Scout the Rogue. If you can't steal, pick locks, find and remove traps and get exp/loot then it's not a Rogue. Hide, sneak and DPS make not a Rogue. Thats just a Scout/Assassin.

Still nothing more than a hide/sneak DPs class, its cheap and to lack luster to be a real Rogue
Names have meanings to them. If a flower shop said there having a Rose sale, and you go in and their Daisy's, are you going to accept and buy them as Roses????? At best it's a bad joke, at worst it's a flat out lie.
Really?
The intent stated years ago was for each archetype to have special out of combat skills
The rogue is supposed to be able to spot and open hidden locked doors only they can see. As well as traps and locked boxes
for that matter we should stop calling single carts/wagons a 'caravan'.
Caravan is a group of carts/wagons.
Correct, this would be nice for Phase 2.
You have a clear opinion on what a rogue should be, but that’s not going to be a universal interpretation. IMO that’s why DnD expanded the ‘thief’ class to ‘rogue’ in 3rd edition.
Maybe when rogue get added.
Mage eye is there. I haven't found anything yet. Not sure if the others have their skills added yet or if they are useful.
Rangers do not... And honestly I think all of that out of combat stuff is yet to be seen properly.
It will basically be that in the core, you just need to read the description in the website:
One with the shadows, knowing how to move with subtlety, and when to stay put, the rogue's stealth is unmatched.
The rogue is a master of opportunity, using skill, positioning, and the environment to dish out frightening amounts of damage.
In their downtime, they provide excellent scouting, helping their friends navigate dangers otherwise unseen.
Last few lines don't count.
Fair enough.
