EAC crashing on startup

Haven't had any of my guildmates have this problem, but when i launch the game from the Launcher, the Intrepid Splash Screen shows up for a second or two, the EAC logo starts to spin, and the game then immediately crashes, with the launch game button on the Intrepid launcher staying gray for a moment, before once again becoming available. I sometimes have to do this 8 to 15 times before the load completes, and the game is fully launched.
