Extended Deadly Finisher LOWERS Spellbook damage

Weapons have an attack combo chain, with the final attack being a Finisher. Any ability used resets the attack chain, stopping and starting also resets it. You must continually attack in order to advance the combo sequence.

Although all attacks must be attempted without interruption to progress to Finisher, not all attacks need to hit. For example, you can swing that Melee weapon and be hitting nothing but air, but the last attack in the combo can connect and trigger the Finisher.

Extended Finisher is unlocked at Tier 3 in the weapon skill chain. It should be noted that points invested in the Tier 2 talent Extended Finisher Damage are essentially wasted until you unlock the Tier 3 Special Extended Finisher (Maybe a bug, maybe misplaced in the skill tree).

Spellbook attack info:
There are 3 attacks to the basic combo.
The final attack is the Finisher, which can proc the Deadly Finisher.
The Deadly Finisher makes the 3rd attack do higher damage than normal and applies the chosen effect.
The Extended Finisher is gained at Tier 3 weapon skill choice.
The Extended Finisher technically adds 2 additional attacks to the overall combo, however, it only requires the 1 attack animation (shown as 4 and 4_2 in the combat log).
The Extended Finisher is a 4th attack added to the combo chain. This can proc the Extended Deadly Finisher effect.

The Bug:
The Extended Deadly Finisher does a higher damage single attack, however, it only performs the 4+ attack, and not the 4_2+ attack.

Due to the lack of second part of the Extended Finisher attack (the 4_2) this results in less damage overall, around 55% damage reduction. This is compounded even more by the fact both 4 and 4_2 can crit individually.

This is a significant damage reduction for spellbook users, most of which have probably chosen to increase their extended deadly finisher thinking its being a good investment and improvement, however, you actually want to actively avoid proccing it. (Cleric perspective, other classes may get benefits from it proccing).

ExtendedFinisher.png shows the normal Extended Finisher attack cycle and how Extended Finisher has 2 parts.
ExtendedDeadlyFinisher.png shows the extended deadly finisher proccing (4+) and resulting in 1 less attack.
ExtendedFinisherCrit.png shows that both parts of the Extended Finisher can crit, resulting in substantial damage over the single Extended Deadly Finisher attack.
