Phase 2 Node Vassalization

So I wanted to see if Intrepid could give some insight on how vassalization can work in Phase to. And seeing as we arent confirmed or denied on adding nodes to tropics and desert I made 2 charts.

Is this correct Intrepid team? Only reason I ask is because the ZOI simulation video doesnt match up with the later explanation of what each node can control.

    its going to be interesting to see how vassaling works with such a small playable area. you can potentially have 3 T4 nodes going on the server if tropics and desert only get 1 node each and thats only if people grind in the right areas to begin with.

    however if you level up winstead first you cuck the other nodes entirely and prob end up bricking your server crafting wise till a node war happens

    The tropics and desert should be full regions with 3-5 nodes.
    Otherwise Phase 2 is going to be pretty dull, and we are much further away from release than I currently speculate.

    Looks like desert is getting 3 nodes. Nothing about tropics yet though but that alone puts the game in a far better spot

    i would assume tropics would get atleast 1 so that leaves 9 nodes minimum which is 3 vassalisation networks So atleast 3 Rank 4 and 3 nodes and 3 non village nodes. However that being said i think they would want a buffer node or 2 so would make sense that tropics has more than 1

    Very true, but I did some more theory on node vassalization and have a feeling I may be way off. The way I have it wouldn't make much sense as far as level lockouts go progressing for other node parents

    Playing in the game gives a proper perspective of how the large the vassal system will be.

    A fully upgraded vassal system, with a level 6 metropolis as a capital, with multiple smaller nodes will basically take over an entire region and spill out into neighboring regions.

    It would take at least a good hour to go on horse back from one side of such a vassal kingdom to the other side.

    In addition, there will be small vassal kingdoms with level 5 city and level 4 town capitals.

    The potential is there for when a fully realize server will be a planet cover with several cities dotting the landscape.

    But doesn't the wiki also say:
    Neighboring/Adjacent nodes from Expedition (stage 1) upward block the growth of their immediate neighbors.

    Wouldn't this mean that way less nodes could get to lvl 3/4?

    So with it now being confirmed that the Desert is getting 3 Nodes and the Tropics 0. How does that play out with the vassal system with 8 Nodes?

    Presumably they are hoping for x2 4-3-2-1? But doubt all the servers will end up like tha, like Wakky said, if someone gets Winstead going fast then that server will be interesting.

    One of my concerns has been the vassal system so I'm very interested to see how it actually plays out.
