Archetypes

Hello!

By naming the tank archetype "Tank", Intrepid are showing remarkable creativity. However, they fell completely short for all the other archetypes, which will severely hurt the immersion. Therefore, let's rename existing, terrible names to something more fitting into a medieval fantasy setting. Here are my proposals:

Cleric -> Healer
Bard -> Buffbot
Fighter -> Melee DPS
Rogue -> Melee/Utility
Ranger -> Ranged Physical DPS
Mage -> Ranged Magical DPS.
Summoner -> Pet Class

We all know how much Steven loves Pathfinder and RPGs in general, so let's do it!

    I still don't understand why people rip open their buttholes to the neck over this when halfway through the game, by choosing the secondary archetype, the class name automatically changes.

    I also don't get why they always make YET ANOTHER pointless thread about it, when they could just add to existing pointless threads about it.

    I like these ideas, I just think they should be shortened a bit. Instead of calling Fighter "Melee DPS" for example, they could call that archetype Mdeepz. That would still be better than Tank imo.

    Also, in DAoC, there akshully was a class called the Healer. lol

    I couldn't care less tbh. I'd play Bard, even if Steven would decide to call it "Pling Plong Rascal". The mechanics are good, the skill design (as far as I have seen) is good and its fun to play. And having the class name change after Lv25... couldn't care less.
