The Adjustments Were Overkill

I feel like the adjustments to both the gear and elites at the same time, has gone overboard. I'm level a level 20 Bard and killing a 3 star Kaelan on my own is almost too much. Steelbloom feels like such a slog, and I have never wiped there so much. Maybe it's the players I have been grouped with, but it's really killing my enjoyment. I'm just gonna stick to playing solo for now, and fighting non-elites.

    not spose to solo 3 star mobs though :P

    I think it was fine with 1 small change and thats nerfing mob dropped gear by dropping it down to white quality items only off mobs the gap between crafted and mob drops is negleable now it make no sense 2 push crafting gear earlier on

In general I do try to let them know what is working or why something isn't working and be more constructive, but I'm not sure how much more constructive I can be than "you went a little too far".

    What about you? How have you been contributing to the game? By making fun of people? Why not lend some constructive criticism of your own and tell me why I'm wrong?

    3 star mobs 5 levels lower than me. I could solo them before and I can solo them now, so if I'm not suppose to be able to then they actually need to go FURTHER. And yeah, I agree, crafting is a bit of a mess. I don't think the solution is to nerf drops though. To me crafting is far to tedious and arduous. I think maybe there needs to be more uspcaling throughout the production. Like an apprentice refiner should have a good chance to upgrade white wood to green planks. Though, we are still pretty early on in the crafting system. Perhaps if you get a bunch of Grand Master crafters, with full crafting gear, they can start pumping out level 0 legendaries like it's nothing? Would that be a good thing? I'm not sure, but I like it as a flavour.

    Idk I think skill should play into soloing 3 star mobs, there has never been anything saying we are not suppose to be able to, and if we do need a group to solo 3 star mobs what is the actual point? They don't drop loot and the exp vs ttk isn't even worth it, so what's the point of the 3 star mobs

    3 star mobs do drop loot. The loot pools maybe need some work, but certain areas have very specific loot pools. HH is great for physical damage, RoS is great for tank gear. Ursine Caves drops a lot of poop.

    TTK vs EXP is definitely a problem. I always found soloing to be better exp, and better glint. Now it feels like loot is the ONLY reason to fight elites. It's a hard balance between mob loot and crafted loot as well. Crafting is so time consuming, it feels more efficient to kill elites for loot, because then you are still getting glint and EXP.
