I feel like my artisan shirt qaulity rating got dissabled instead of nerfed. I ahve a legendery +7 armorsmith shirt but i cant even make a uncommon into a rare anymore.

If you don't have the right mats, a hax shirt shouldn't compensate.
Bed idea from the get go where you 6 or quality levels. If it was 1 to 100 quality levels then sure, but jumping 1/6 permanently with a shirt is crap.
Now if you had a limited use gizmo that raised quality I feel that would be different, but a permanent boost is just an obligatory item.
I thought QUALITY increased the top end numerical rating.
And the RARITY helped to increase the color (rarity).
As such, the crafter clothes dont have any + Rarity. Only the gatherer and processor do.
And if that holds true, it speaks to why he cant change the rarity with his Armorsmith shirt.
He can make the (example) 150-191 numerical rating much closer to 191 or even beyond 191.
As that is all it can do.
I think the 2 stat are the same meaning only different word, They use quality for the crafting that change the rarity and the roll and the rarity is for processing and gathering.
But to be sure you must made and try to see if change the color of the item you craft change the mats you use for crafting and the number of must needed to change rarity change with shirt and without.
CLICCA QUI PER UNIRTI ALL'ORDINE
This is my understanding of how the crafting system works.
Each quality of materials is worth X points in this case lets say Heroic is 20 points, epic is 30 points and legendary if 40 points and the item takes 10 items to craft
To get the lowest tier Heroic item is 200 points and epic is 300 points and a legendary is 400 points required
So if u were to craft a piece with just heroic pieces (10 so total of 200 points) you would get the absolutely lowest value available on a heroic piece however if u used 5 heroics and 5 epics pieces your total (so that come to 250 points) so that will produce the absolute mid of the lowest heroic and lowest epic. if your total point hit 299 u would get thebest heroic quality but if it was 300 it would be the lowest epic which is like 1-2 dmg more than heroic.
Now when we add crafting armor with quality rating in the mix it just adds to the point pools so a shirt might be +50 quality rating in this situarion if we use the example above of 5 heroic and 5 epic materials you would get (5x20 points) = 100 (5x30points) =150 so 100+150+50 from crafting armor and you now get a total of 300 so it get pushed upto the lowest tier epic quality.
Glad you learned this from me because you were just as lost as the other guy not understanding what quality meant in crafting and what rarity meant in gathering. None of which increase your tool, like I said originally.
Good work not using a bunch of ?!??!??’s as well. And hardly any grammar issues.
