Ranger Disengage feedback/potential bug

I know that it's probably a bug, but after using it for so long I feel like this should be a feature. When sprinting, using call of the wild, and jumping off a cliff, if you disengage afterward you get shot out a good bit further than your normal disengage. This works off high cliffs, or even airstrikes.
It has made the mobility of the ranger feel wonderful, and definitely increased the value of me playing the class over something else. The specific situation required to create this mobility makes it feel rewarding when I pull it off, and aim it correctly. Running around and getting these jumps off a cliff has been some of the most fun I've had while playing the alpha. It might be a bug, it might not be. If it is a bug, I think it should be a feature.
