First off I love the fact that it seems that you thought of things with crafting needing to work together with others in order to get the job done. I am highly looking forward to the Freeholds and Player Shops coming in the next part.
From the Gatherer,
I know the tools are bugged and we only have access to 1 gathering tool (it looks like there will be 3) I am not sure if this is as they go in higher levels or if these are for other things, but I think there should be a way to switch gathering.
As a Gatherer I would like to see 2 abilities to switch (which yall kinda have with tools right now but no real way to switch it) Right now rarity is just a random chance at spawn of resources, as we get higher in level gatherer we should be able to hit rarer and rarer spawns more often. So have Gathering rarity mixed with levels and gear. Say I have a tree, a novice with a novice ax will chop the tree and get say 5 Common Logs. if a fully specked GM with full GM Gear. they should be picking up say 50 Legendary Logs. But it would be neet to set the Quality and Quantity we are looking for at Higher levels, say a Master can choose what rarity they want to try to hit and if its a lower quality they get a higher quantity. this way instead of a GM hitting a tree for 5 common they can get a ton more (like 100 Common) or rarer stuff (5 Legendary)
From the Processor
While having a game is fun, sometimes being able to set a 4.5 Hour process and being able to go out and game is also fun.
Maybe set it up with a timer or a mini game. The Timer will process afk thus giving the player the normal mats that would have spawned and chance a rarer spawn,
or
The processor can play a minigame (yes for that entire 4.5 hours of processing time) but that game will build a better chance of yeilding more processed goods of higher quality.
So I could set a 250 stack for processing for 4.5 hours and get a stack of 255 whatever i put in 5 slightly better.
or
I could play a minigame for 4.5 hours (oh boy what did i say i wanted) but at the end of that minigame with a good score then say 500 Legendary processed goods pop out (because seriously 4.5 hour grind needs to be work something)
From the Crafter
the Grind is one at a time, depending on the materials put in. over all, im ok, but maybe do a game that will make the item a better quality or you get some of the material back (so like i may not be a Master and the Quality stays the same, but a Journeyman did a good job and it took 10% less mats then normal so they get it back) or something, over all the crafting is a slow grind from novice to Apprentice and even slower to have people grind Apprentice mats to play with.
From an all perspective
PLEASE novice should be easy to level, PLEASE give more novice recipes across processing. crafting that people can easily do. (all farming requires poop, come on, have 1 recipe that doesn't (speaking of which I'm hoping that having a farm on a freehold and raising animals that poop just...spawns...because animals and poop)) don't need to have a good recipe but just A recipe that people can use

It was really really fun to get to Grandmaster, i really loved what yall are doing with the game, keep it up and i look forward to A2P2

To the rest of your points... I like the idea of a 'mini game' or something to do, but I would only want it to expedite the processing speed, nothing more. All of your suggestions lead to giga inflation of materials. In a game where crafted items cannot be destroyed or decayed, inflation is a BIG no no

Not sure you mean "Inflation", what you are referring to is deflation where materials become worthless.
That shouldn't be a problem as they can cut off the supply of copper or snowdrops in a way we can't in the real world, by having them not spawn. In reality the problem they have is that inflation IS through the roof via scarcity. So much so, that only guilds operating a communist system, can afford artisanship.
In reality, there is, and can be no free-market player economy. That is why they have to have fantasy caravans to magic money out of thin air.
