Potential Solution to Looters

As this would require something additional to be set in the game, it couldn't be implemented immediately, but perhaps this would be a solution for launch.
When you go to loot a corpse, it gives you a warning that you will be looting "stolen" goods. If you loot a corpse, anything that you looted is listed as "stolen".
While you have "stolen" items in your inventory, you are automatically flagged as a combatant and remain that way until the goods are sold, laundered, or deleted. It can't be traded to another player.
To change the items from "stolen" to normal, you must visit a black-market vendor to either sell or launder the goods.
So, this may help solve some of the issues with people finding ways to kill another player without getting corrupted and then looting the player's stuff. They would be continually flagged as a combatant until they got rid of the stolen goods, which means traveling to a black-market vendor and risking someone coming after them.

Maybe we'll see in phase 2.
This is what happens now. You do get a message. You do get flagged purple for about 2 min. So the person you stole the glint from will almost always not make it back to the looter in time to try and take their loot back. Later we will see a black market and its the only place you can sell stolen goods. Allot would be fixed if you stole from someone you stayed flagged for 10 min and you were a dot on the map for the one you stole from. Just my two cents.
Agreed, surely it has to count for something.
