Do you think it would be feasible to implement the ability for chat rooms to be created based on party creation.
Say I form a group with 1 person, the game instantly puts us in a chat group along with anyone else who joins the same group.
Always with the options to mute others or yourself. I think that would deepen the immersion.

Voice chat is planned as well

In ESO, you type / and it opens the chat window automatically, then it's just /p for Party, /g1, /g2, etc for your guilds, etc.
So much easier. This chatbox feels a little clunky at times.
In L2 you'd just click the "party" chat tab and that would automatically make you read and write in said chat. You could add other tabs' output into the party tab, but you'd always be writing in whatever tab you're currently in.
To me that seems more logical and straightforward than "you're reading party chat, but you also gotta click the party input button to write in it (or fucking write the entire /party bs)"
/s for say (proximity chat)
/p for party
/r for raid
/g for guild or global, I can't remember which; then the other is either /guild or /global, maybe it has a shortcut too.
/t /tell or /whisper to PM with someone; I wish you could use /w too
And there is no need to click on anything, just press Enter and you can start typing your message.
What was truly great in L2 was that you'd use symbols at the start of your message to chose the recipients of your message, and it'd automatically change your default input chat for your next messages too, so you wouldn't have to type the symbol again:
!message sends "message" to everyone in the area (shout)
#message sends "message" to your party
@message sends "message" to your clan
$message sends "message to your alliance
+message sends "message" to the trade chat
%message sends "message" to everyone if you're a hero
"name message sends "message" to "name"
What if I want to have a tab that shows party, whispers, guild chat, and combat/damage logs?
Yeah, I'm used to having the ChatBox also open with the / key, ready for the command.
Enter key = Opens ChatBox for typing.
/ key = Opens ChatBox with a pre-populated / ready for the command to be typed.
It's not a big thing, for sure. Just feels clunky without it.
