For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

So...any news on a fix for triggering Finishers from unequipped weapons?

I haven't played for few weeks, but I remember that being a thing 2 weeks ago. It was fairly obvious that when I had a wand equipped I was triggering Finisher effects from unequipped weapons, which were in my inventory. That was on the top of the wand specific Finishers. I don't think it was a wand specific bug also.

Basically what is happening as I have come to understand it, is when the bug is in place, all the weapons you've levelled up and spent points into the Weapon Skill Tree, stay as active buffs to your CHARACTER, just like your Class Skill Tree, and the weapon is treated completely separate. The weapon just switches to what Weapon Skill Tree shows. So it stacks the effects, it doesn't clear them when you switch weapons. So it's not just your Offhand weapon that is triggering alongside your Mainhand - it's ALL OF THE WEAPONS you levelled and spent points in it's individual Weapon Skill Tree.
At the most extreme testing, I was able to get Volatile, Burning (Or Chilled), Bleeding, Snare, Dazed, Stagger, Wounded, and then multiple stacks of Ward and Refreshing Folowthrough on the single Deadly Finisher proc.

The Ward even bugged out in my more recent testing, and accumulated about 25% or so health over-shield and then had a 2% that would come and go whenever I triggered the Finisher/Deadly Finisher. So it was weirdly broken at one point.
Also - Shield can get stuck. You can have your shield equipped when you have a Wand equipped. 1H sword and Shield on your mainhand and offhand, then Wand and Focus Offhand on your ranged equipment slots, but no matter whether you switched to Sword or Wand you'd still have your shield out and you'd be protected by the (BLOCKED XXX DAMAGE) message reducing your damage taken from hits on the shield when you shouldn't, because it shouldn't be equipped and visible when you switch to the Wand.
