This is just a whimsical, fun little suggestion for the future. I totally get that it'd be at the bottom of the list of priorities.
I think it’d be amazing if, once freeholds and castles are introduced—or when your guild owns a node—you could upload custom graphics to display on banners around the district to represent your guild. Imagine how immersive that would be! Of course, there would need to be rules and restrictions to keep things in line with the world of Ashes of Creation. Nobody wants to see out-of-place or inappropriate stuff, like the weird lewd anime images people used to upload in the original Ragnarok Online (the iconic isometric version, not the newer, disappointing one). I still remember how cool it was back then to see guilds showing off their unique designs.
And just to play devil's advocate, I could see Intrepid monetising that and doing pretty well off of it. Seems like a harmless way for the company to give the players some creative outlet, and to generate some income and keep supporting the game - other than membership fees, I s'pose.
Anyway, that's all. Have a lovely Christmas y'all!

No guild would have a respectable logo.
I once played on a RP server on WOW where you could report people for having non-rp names.
I think I averaged like 20 reports an hour...
This is my personal feedback, shared to help the game thrive in its niche.
Yeah, people would certainly abuse it if Rust is anything to go by. It would have to be moderated, perhaps even go through a filter or manual approval process before the banner image is visible to everyone - which, given that there aren't too many nodes, and people are always looking for an excuse to get someone else in trouble (especially a dominant guild) - would be fairly manageable, right? I'd hope people would just adhere to social norms most of the time. After all, it's in your best interests as a guild leader to be in the good graces of the moderators/devs etc.

Cos deep down, people are generally awful, and enjoy being so when there are no repercussions!
That said, guilds don't own nodes, nor do I want to see any of that in nodes. However, it's appropriate for castles and guild freeholds, since those are in fact guild owned. But again, ingame tool creations only and not too freeform.
If the tool is too freeform, it's probably easy enough to make a dick and balls or swastika with this tool, and then having the guild feign innocence claiming it's just a cannon or a buddhist symbol, when everyone knows what it really is meant to portray, and then the GMs have to spend time on all that BS.
They’re definitely considering adding User created content and having active GMs monitoring it.
However, since guilds don’t own nodes, it might be tough to have your banners everywhere - unless you manage to get your hands on several instances of Static housing within a node.

and we all remember how well that went
It went well enough.
People will absolutely set furniture and such up in a penis formation - we don't need pictures for this to happen.
However, a simple CS person looking at each image (and each image being a micro transaction to pay for this CS work), and you are going to have less of an issue with this than you would with just random furniture.
