Wings of Salvation and Defiant Light

Any estimates on when these will be fully functional?

As it is, and I am sure the devs already know this:

Defiant light doesn't trigger when someone goes below the HP threshold described. But it does heal them over time.

Wings of salvation doesn't free you from controlling effects, but it does give you an HP shield based on magic power %.

Also, would it be terrible of me to suggest that wings of salvation can be used to travel to a selected target other than a friendly target? So that we can chase down enemies. We don't have anything that slows movement, and our stun isn't a guaranteed hit. I've had many opponents escape due to my lack of mobility/chasedown in this regard.

I agree with it being used on select targets, not just friendly. That said, I have had both defiant light and wings work properly. The only non-cc break WoS fails on is silence...but that makes sense. Either way, WoS is very clunky and could use some love, especially for it being our tier 3 skill line

Wings of salvation on an enemy? Doesn't make sense.
I understand your frustration with the lack of chase down abilities but I think personally cleric does not need that pre 25, if at all.

I just want wings to work vertically as well.

Personally I'd like for WoS to not be target dependent at all. Just moves you forward in the direction your "crosshair" is facing for the full movement range of the skill unless hitting an obstacle. That way it can be used for attack or escape or traversing difficult terrain. As the skill currently exists I rarely if ever use it and I do not know of any clerics that use it as more than a gimmick skill.

I could see that being a thing down the line with augments. Let's say you go Cleric/Mage and use the teleportation augment school from Mage. Maybe then it turns WoS from a friendly-target dependent skill to a skill that teleports you 20 meters forward or something and then gives the temp health and CC break.

How nice would it be if we could tap space bar and flap those wings and control the flight for a little while?

That's a cool idea and shows good foresight! I sometimes forget that we're testing the very early stages of the game, and that we can't just have everything we want at level 25, considering it's so early into character progression.
