What do you think about the classes so far?

I know class balance and other such features aren't really the focus right now, and only minor balance changes get made. But I just wanted to know what some of the community thought about the classes they've played so far. Issues or things that feel good. Doesn't have to be too serious.
Personally, I love the Ranger class and play it in every MMO. For right now, the ranger feels a little clunky.
Bear trap and Vine field feel great to use, and provide nice utlity for the party, I like the current iteration alot
Thundering Shot feels odd and a little out of place in the rotation, along with Snipe and Headshot.
Party Stride and Strider are nice, but with the current mobs, kiting feels pretty difficult, as they'll be on you in a short amount of time.
The marks are nice but without seeing the enemy's information or stats I have no idea if I need pen or not, so slightly muddled there.
As for tank, I haven't played it a great deal, but the first ability you get feels god awful to use when you begin the journey. The courage system and that ability just don't mesh well. The other abilities, like the single target taunt seem fine, but the higher in the tree I go the more single target or AOE physical damage abilities we see. I don't see the tanks ever pulling large numbers. Even with reflect and fortify, the tank seems to die quite handly unless the mobs are only 1-2. And a personal aside, the conversion rate for "Courage" and how much charge it has, the tool tips spit alot of numbers at you and it's a bit difficult to parse, but I could just be dumb. I'd love for another class to be a tank though.
Any thoughts on your favorite classes

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like in ashes if you aren't in range of a party member, even if you can see them on your screen you can't target them. I was healing raids last night and getting pretty frustrated that in the mass of 3 raids stacked onto each other I was X amount of feet away from someone dying. This would mean I'd have to move around randomly and constantly try to spam click their raid frame and THEN begin the healing. As opposed to identifying the target first, having them selected and then spamming my ability once I was in range of an ally that needed it.
Seems minor but the frenzy of attempting to target is an unneeded stress when you also have to heal an ally in as little time as possible which could mean success or failure for the whole group. After talking to other clerics in the same raid they had the same experience and admitted they simply spammed AoE heals to avoid that issue altogether.
There's not enough freedom to 'push' Cleric towards what I normally play, just yet, so I'm still over in Solisium letting my cool new scarf blow in the wind.
Need long kunoichi scarf, Intrepid! It can billow slightly when I cast Consecrating Wave in windless areas!
I'm looking forward to more Cleric-ing, regardless of if I get the 'missing parts' of my kit soon, as long as the mobs themselves become fun in Phase 2. If the 'mostly just stacking healing' is good, then I'm not going to enjoy that part less just because the other parts are missing.
Cleric got boring by 12. Wish they had a DPS 'tree', Or a utility/ DMG prevention tree.
Very reactive, nearly no prevention.
I played Holy and Disc priest in Wow. Standard Cleric feels like Holy Priest, very limited on DMG. I preferred Disc bubble shield spec.
I enjoyed fighter but stopped at 14 once wipe was announced.
I'll play fighter again.
Going to try rogue for first time in an MMO.
For now I hope this will improve when the extended classes are introduced. Those augments better be creative and really change how the base archetype plays.
Blown past falling sands…
I would normally be right their with you being pedantic and carrying water for the developers who want to use this odd ball terminology. But when thouse same developers just stick the word 'Class' on the skill tree tab and single handeldly blew their terminologies feet off with a shotgun I got aint gonna waste my breath any more. It's primary class/secondary class for me from now on.
Might not even give it a shot at launch because of it, but maybe in some distant expansion.
64 classes and there isn't a single one for me. Bummer.
