If more people paid attention to the Discord channels these threads would be fewer.

if they would make announcements in the announcements forum rather than just on discord, these threads would also be fewer. Seems crazy that people would check the bug forum and announcement forum for bugs and announcements!

I still get this error after the request to restart on discord. Doesnt seem that it downloaded or patched anything new.

i dont think this is related to servers being down. I updated windows on my PC and it fixed the issue.

I take that back. i was able to do the update. It still doesn't let me to launch the game.

i agree with this persons comment 100%.

The invitation to Alpha 2 testing explicitly stated that Discord is where to see real-time updates on testing. This is so they don't have to take time to say the same thing in 3 different places when information changes quickly.

They set three places up where people could potentially look for information apparently. If they choose to only update one of them, then they're going to get plenty of people looking in the others, not finding answers, posting about it, and then being frustrated because the company is not responding on their official forums. And of course people who are on discord being snarky about people who aren't on discord. Not a great way to set things up and build either community or trust in the company.

Anyway, thanks again for the information. Unthanks for the snarky tone.
