Left shift/Right shift difference

not sure if really a bug but the game seems to differentiate between left shift/control/alt and right shift/control/alt when you press them alone (eg. when you bind "Sprint" to left shift, you wont be sprinting if you press right shift). I thought that's handy and would allow to be creative with the keybinds but apparently if you press shift+X it doesnt care which shift you are pressing. Is it even possible to have computer to recognize difference between left/right shift when combining keys? If it is, I'd appreciate if you'd make it possible to bind different things in left and right modifier buttons.
