Unable to Access Phase 2 of Alpha 2

I have been unable to access the game since the start of Phase 2 of Alpha 2. I had no issues in Phase 1, the best I was able to do on day one of Phase 2 was to create a character and then I ended up stuck on the loading screen, the game eventually shuts down. My system is an i9 on Windows 11, with a 3070ti gpu and 16gb of ram. The system is only used for gaming as I have a streaming and recording PC for everything else. So the system is not being taxed with any other programs. Before Phase 2 started I had some issues with another game which I use my Logitech G920 wheel with. I ended up rolling back Logitech GHUB and my NVIDIA drivers as the wheel was causing the other game to experience massive frame drops while using the wheel, a regular controller brought the FPS right back up. I also uninstalled the latest Windows Updates on Windows 11 to try and resolve the issue. I was unable to fix the issue with the wheel and I found out many others were having the same issue with the Logitech G920, but I did find the game also wouldn't run with the new NVIDIA app that seems to have replaced NVIDIA Geforce Experience. I have since uninstalled the NVIDIA APP, I have reinstalled the latest Windows Updates and Logitech GHUB is the latest 2024 version. The other game can only be played with controller. So when Phase 2 of Ashes of Creation started I was not able to get past the loading screen after making a character. This was while I had the Windows 11 updates uninstalled. Now I have reinstalled them and the game will not even load into the lobby, it immediately shuts down. I have tried uninstalling the game multiple times, I've tried repair and I only use SSD drives. I have tried reinstalling the game to a different drive and that doesn't resolve the issue as well. I have tried turning off my antivirus software and disabling the firewall and the game still will not get to the lobby, it just shuts itself down.

I have even tried to install the game on an older gaming PC with an i7 processor, 32gb of ram and a NVIDIA 2070 gpu. The game allows me to get in to the lobby, then actually get past the loading screen and I can seemingly play. I then noticed that my action bars with my skills do not display on the screen and my character will not perform the skill that would normally be on the action bar in slot #1. I checked the HUD settings and the bars should be displaying but they are not. So my conclusion is that NVIDIA GPU's are not doing well with the game since the start of Phase 2. My friend has a system build on AMD with an AMD gpu, he's having no issues playing the game. My older PC worked even when the game said the drivers were outdated, I tried it with the newest NVIDIA drivers and it loaded up fine, the action bars would not appear or function at all. So for now I have completely uninstalled the game, I will check it out again when the Rogue and Summoner are added to the game. Hopefully it will work by then, if not it's been fun playing Phase 1. I can't afford to put together another PC with all AMD just to play the game right now. I am hoping it's simply NVIDIA that has done something to their latest drivers that is causing all these issues. I do know for sure their new app is a problem because another game will not run with the NVIDIA app installed. These types of issues never existed when we used to have GEFORCE experience.

I have figured out what the issue was with the action bars on my older gaming PC. I had forgotten the tank had no skill on the action bar at level 1, lol. I dragged the rations to the action bar and got it to appear. So I have been able to get the game to run on my old machine with the i7, 32gb of ram and an NVIDIA 2070 gpu with the latest NVIDIA drivers. I tried again on my other machine with the i9, 16gb of ram and an NVIDIA 3070ti with no luck. The game continues to boot me out and I can't access the lobby. At one point during one of my attempts a msg popped up saying out I was out of memory, so some how the game is eating up all of my ram after a clean install and a reboot? After the msg I checked my startup and I removed some items that weren't taking much memory up to begin with, but I made the system start with minimal apps. This did not resolve the issue and I have not gotten the low memory msg since the first time. I can also add that during my installs I was not always selecting Microsoft Edge Webview2, this time around I did allow it to install on my new system and it was installed on the old system as well.

So for now I will play the game on my older system, perhaps something with the game has changed to make my new system incompatible for now. Hopefully this will be resolved with future patches and I can use my newer system again to play the game.

How much ram do you have? The one error msg I did receive on my newer machine today was that it was out of ram after a clean install and a reboot. My older machine has an older NVIDIA gpu but it has 32gb of ram, perhaps the issue is the game isn't working well with machines with less than 32gb of ram? My friend's AMD machine has 7885hs processor, 780m gpu and 32gb of ram. So it seems to be a memory issue right now since the start of phase 2. I might have to pick up some more memory for my 3070ti machine.

32gb ram, ddr4, 2100mhz. Yesterday, after setting to low graphics, i was running smooth in 60+fps (enough for my monitor/tv). Any problem at all. I believe that we gonna be sorted only on the next patch, unfortunately.

On my i7, 2070 with 32gb of ram the game.. when I am on a fresh boot my system is at 26% memory usage. Once I am loading into the game is using up to 73% of my memory and it levels out at a constant 68% memory usage. In Phase 1 this game wasn't doing this. My other machine with 16gb was able to run this game with no issues.

The game continues to eat memory up as I continue to play it spikes to 79 - 80% memory usage.

I likewise have been experiencing the same issues.
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
    20GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

Played Phase1 of Alpha 2 with no issues other than when the servers first kicked up.
Phase2 I have been able to get through Character creation and was able to join Vyra 1 time. Met with a disconnect and Server has Timed Out message. I have not been able to make it back onto set since, I get auto logged out whenever the load screen completes. Another Server has Timed Out message, everytime.

The game appears to be eating up ram for some reason right now. Hopefully they patch it up soon and it resolves this issue. I have been monitoring the memory usage of my 32gb machine and it has been up to 89% at some points.
