Feedback on crafting. Armorsmithing/weaponsmithing in particular,
Understand the map size is limited and there are specific goals at the moment for testing.
I love how the crafting works, how using better rated materials make better rarity items. I think that is a cool factor that wow doesn't have. (Using wow as an example because I've played that the most for mmo's.)
The problem at the moment is resources. Which I'm sure has been mentioned a lot. If the intentional isn't to push people to craft and that's not a priority then no worries. But if it is then there needs to be a fix. Either add more nodes, require less materials and/or give more xp to each artisanship tree when crafting items etc..
To me, if the intent is for us to test crafting then why make it an incredibly tedious thing to test. I could spend all day looking for 12 copper or zinc to make one item and get my armorsmithing no where or I could level and get gear drops that are significantly better than anything you can craft at the moment.
I'm torn because I do want to learn more about the intricacies of the artisanship side of the game but I don't have the time or the patience to zigzag across the map for hardly any reward.
Just my two sense on it. Most of the people I've played with and talked about this have had the same thoughts.
Hoping there is a fix that comes to this side of the test.
