Launcher Error: Add Operation ApplyOperation process - error decompressing game files.

I just bought an alpha 2 key today and have been trying for 5 hours to install and get into the game.
in the launcher the "file operations" bar gets stuck and stop moving and after a while i just recieve this message photo attached below:
Errors occured during the add Operation ApplyOperation process. - an error has occurred when decompressing game files. try again later.
I`ve tried everything from completely deleting the game, running as admin, uninstalling everything to repairing, to delete and download the launcher again 100 times now. Nothing is working.
I`ve also talked to a lot of people in the Discord and on the Reddit that are having the same issues, a common thing seems to be we are all new players who just bought the game today. No one else except us seem to have this error when trying to install, and no one have been able to fix it.

I bought today and I have not been able to play, an important investment
Stuck at 10%
in order to get AOC to run on my Manjaro rig W/ bottles. This error is not outlined in the Linux troubleshooting steps and may not be appropriate to post there, but will if this thread does not lead to resolution.
Edit, I did however purchase my alpha key previously, but have not yet had time to tinker to get this game running.
Considering it involves new purchases, it should have high priority, I hope...
You can use Bottles or Lutris and it will not work with either if it is a fresh install. I had it running on non-flatpak Bottles before today but an update broke Bottles. I've tried with flatpak Bottles and non-flatpak Lutris and the same issue on both.
Maybe this new patch Will help us.
Maybe, but i know this patch is not related to our problem, cause i have the problem before they wreck their patch. But if they change the file , it can fix our problem for sure. Im trying since 7am(us east)

However everything seemingly installed correctly, but i guess there's a communication error?
