Lost Caravan - entrance to tropics, teleported randomly to Carphin Spring. No recover ability

Was on my caravan, first one ever. As I approached the entrance to the tropics, on the ground, I suddenly got teleported to the Carphin spring. Walked back, with the Caravan symbol next to my name, could not recover it with no button to recover and the caravan no where to be found. Tried relogging, lost the caravan symbol. No recover button. Poof.
