XP Debt Middle Ground

Now don't get me wrong, I honestly actually love the concept of xp debt from older mmorpgs, but I would like to see some middle ground or some alleviation for group content.
My suggestion is that if someone is resurrected by their party within 3-5 minutes, they should not incur xp debt.
Tanks are already usually the hardest role to find in most mmos, and the fact that they are just going to be CONSTANTLY taking xp debt when they are allowed to die while everyone else is able to escape is frustrating.
This would still keep the punishment of xp loss for a party wipe as cleric would die as well. If the team wanted to make certain areas deadlier they could simply design the area with less ways of escape if the tank dies.
This issue has already created some degen attitudes with some healers that they dont want to heal people. They instead just do damage and wait for people die and then resurrect them.
