Mob Training should be a BANNABLE OFFENSE as well AS CCing as Opener on Healers/All

I will be direct. An exploit of running around highly contested high content areas and peeling the mobs of onto other parties DELIBERATELY as well as bards sleeping healers when a group is low on mana, as an opener, to PREVENT COMPETITION for gear farms HAS BECOME THE STANDARD for gameplay. THey do not want to compete. THEY do not want to pvp, they want the content locked down to THEMSELVES. They dont want to flag up.... THEY WANT ALL COMPETITION PREVENTED. How can we even test content if mob trains galore are the norm?

If developers want testers then HANDLE THE MOB TRAIN PEELING EXPLOIT so we can even try the game out!. CCing healers ASA A PVP OPENER SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE BY DESIGN.

Agree on fixing mob training, and banning exploiters in the meantime.

Disagree with cc’ing healers being impossible. I think cc needs to flag the caster, and pvp will take its normal course.

In ow dungeons where guilds are contesting an end boss, you will need to take action against the critical leads (tanks and healers) to weaken a guild during a pull and attempt to wrest control of the fight (and loot) to benefit your guild.

In ow pvp, if my team is ambushing your team we will target your healer first. Preventing this from happening is anaethema to the ow pvp spirit. The appropriate cost is to flag my team as soon as the cc hits your team, then the fight is on.

Issue is the bard archetype can sleep healers that are not flagged, while purple. STEVEN himself said that ccing as in SLEEP should not be allowed on opener. WE HAVE BARDS WIPING PARTIES WITH EXPLOITS

The whole crying over opening with CC is very short sighted IMO. Okay, so you can't open with CC? Then they're going to do a single auto attack, then CC. I'm not sure why Steven cares about this. The main way people are "griefing" others with sleep/incap is usually around mining copper lol (bard/cleric/mage just sleeps the player, steals the node, and is running away while CC breaks).

So 1 player can lock down the entire dungeon to the entire player base is not griefing and not exploiting. The ENTIRE PLAYER BASE PREVENTED. Apparently this is the design and allowed. Next time Gm’s are in a dungeon … lets mob train THEM because its allowed. PROPER GAME Design … check! Can’t wait for the game creator GMSteven to be mob trained himself because it is allowed @StevenSharif @Vaknar

I think the idea is that you couldn't CC the other party until they attacked back and went from green to purple. Not just for the opener.

This, or something very close would be the best solution. Using a cc on the healer is a completely valid and smart strategy (and yes I primarily play healers so yes I know how much it sucks to have happen), but if you aren't flagged as combatant already and you use a single target ability on another player, outside your party or raid group, the game needs to force flag you as a combatant and that flag must have a minimum duration that you can not just immediately manually unflag within. Additionally, all AoE abilities, both damaging and healing, from a non-combatant should only effect other non-combatants, completely ignoring any player flagged as a combatant or Corrupted that happens to be within the effected area.
