XP Debt in Lawless Zones for PvP Should Not Be a Thing

I am a 25 Ranger who enjoys PvP. I went into the tropics the other day to do some solo pvp / ganking and I was surprised to see that when I died, I received XP debt.
Let me tell you why I believe this is bad:
1). In lawless zones people know what they are getting themselves into. It's supposed to be an unrestricted PvP area where you need to be ready to fight. Why would there be a punishment for people who are going in there to PvP? The XP debt causes your stats to deteriorate the more you accrue, and it just seems to me that it is counter intuitive to the lawless zone ethos.
2). If Ashes of Creation is calling itself a PvP game, then these types of systems that overly punish players for PvP will cause the game not to take away from other games like Albion Online where the PvP is much more open and free, hence potentially not reaching the target audience for this game.
3). With end game lacking as it is on both PvE and PvP, players are wanting to PvP in order to create conflict and by not allowing them to PvP freely in lawless zones, we might as well just stop playing for now. Once you are max level and gear there is nothing left to do. I don't want to be running around the whole map just to try and kill a caravan that I may or may not find for no punishment PvP.
I love your game. I believe it has strong foundations. I just really get demotivated when I grinded hard to get to end game PvP only to have to grind more to eliminate the effects of XP debt. Just let me PvP and have fun without the added hassle of XP Debt in Lawless zones.
P.S. I know this is an Alpha and I know what I got into and expect things to change, but this is such a minor tweak to the PvP rules in lawless areas that it should not be too hard to just turn off XP debt in Lawless zones.
