    You can create charcoal, if that is what you are referring to, with metalworking profession (processing). You can do this with oak. Once we have t3 (journeyman) tools we can mine iron and I think with iron + charcoal you can make steel.

    Yep our biggest issue is that mining rocks should also give coal at times controlled by random number generator. Current random number generator is always 0.
