The weapons in the game don't feel like weapons, they're just attack animations, they don't have attack speed damage, they just give the most stats, thereby devaluing the rest of the equipment. my opinion, weapons should have less influence on the power of abilities, at least for a mage, have an individual indicator of damage and attack speed. I understand that it is probably more convenient for the developers when, roughly speaking, all the damage from a weapon depends only on the stat, but this is not right. It creates the feeling that other slots are much less important, and the gun itself is not such, but only a calculator for summing up the stats that it gives in the greatest quantity. And to be honest, IMHO, adding things like white damage, attack speed, bleeding/burn/etc. effects to weapons looks cooler than the weapon talent tree.

    Yeah, they're basically just stat-sticks with a couple of passives that proc when you let Auto-Attack have its way for long enough.
    Would be nice to see some actual useable Weapon Skills, so that we actually have to think about the weapon we use and how we use it.
