Fist time player artisan feedback

I've been playing for 2 days and no doubt a lot of this has already been discussed in the past. That being said: New player perspective are always useful to devs so here we are. Hopefully this is the right subforum!

I'm currently level 9 and almost all my gathering skills are around that level too (give or take 2 levels)

- Gathering is pretty fast but doesn't take effort.
- Gathering is too samey at the moment.
Cutting down a tree is as fun as cutting down some dandelions. I wish there was more character to each profession.
For instance. I'd love to see things like:
Cut trees have fall dmg like in valheim,
Herbalism has to cut down the entire field (flowers disappear with each cut) so they have to slow-move while they gather
Fishing has a minigame
Mining requires you to hit the key at the right moment
etc.
- It's really hard to make new tools! Getting copper is extremely challenging
- Getting Rubies, Copper, etc. all seem really hard and block my entire progress in almost all artisan skills. It feels silly how much of a blocker this skill is while it's my second highest level!
- The feedback on pressing the gather button is lacking. I spent my first few hours spamming the button thinking that I couldn't let go because there is no visual feedback.
- It's really annoying to have to bring those outfits with me everywhere I go.
- - They take up a ton of inventory space
- - And they all look the same, making properly swapping a pain!
- Pylons just generate an error and it's unclear if they even work
- I'm constantly out of inventory space everywhere! As a new player I want to first explore how the system works and then start crafting. This is encouraged by the crafting input only allowing specific amounts of resources at a time. I wish there was a more generous storage available somewhere OR for the early game crafting recipes to be much easier to make so that I can get rid of my high rarity resources!
- I also wish it was easier to see where items go in the system (I ended up using external sites to click through resources)
- I wish it was easier to see if I should sell the item now or later to a vendor.
- Taming seems incredibly expensive which feels unfortunate for a skill that will no doubt be popular. I wish crafting, just like gathering, would be more labor intensive instead of timer/money intensive.

I understand that everything is still in alpha and will no doubt massively improve / change. I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements over time!
