Spell animations hide enemies damage puddles

So far all I have played is tank and have noticed it is difficult to see poison or other damage puddles under allies spell animations that also cover ground. I also have had trouble seeing chopper swings (as an example) when they are covered with animations. I may have missed a setting to make them easier to see through, but if it's not a me error it is something to consider.
