Is there a singular Working Quest in this game?

Spawned in and after completing the professions quest that introduced me to the professions and got me the starter tools not 1 singular quest with the Exception of the Quest Boards where you kill a few birds/wolves outside the city has worked.

Either misleading Quest Markers, such as the deliver Splinters to someone who has need in them leading me to a zone 3 twice my levels and nobody/nothing to handoff the splinters to at the end.

Im just not interested in hitting goblins and getting little to no XP to level myself, yet this seems like the only thing that is working. Am I just choosing the Wrong quests?

Yes, but expect few early quests, most are not worth touching. The questlines, the story arcs are missing.
