Will AoC run ok from an external SSD?

Would be grateful for thoughts on whether Ashes will run from an external SSD. I ask as while my CPU and GPU exceed the system requirements my internal SSD does not have sufficient free space for Ashes notwithstanding I have cleaned up the SSD as much as I can (it is a small SSD). Thanks in advance for any constructive responses.

i got it to load and run off a HDD external HD so im sure you can with a SSD even better
