Node Progression and Artisan Skills

As much as I love how we can progress nodes ect, I feel like they are also a huge wall that holds players back. Either they take waaaay too long to progress or gear / weapons should simply not drop from mobs at all. Just looking at how things are going on Lyneth right now.. I'll use my artisan skill as an example. I'm an Arcane Engineer. I want to craft spell books, wands and focus for mages and healers.

Miraleth is where we have the Apprentice Lab.. however, only the Scribing part of the Lab will become Journeyman.. so Arcane Engineering and Alchemy will stay at the Apprentice level. There is literally no other node where there's a Lab. So it simply won't be possible to craft journeyman magic weapons on that server at all. At least not until we can level nodes to Level 4. But even then, who knows what the mayors will decide to level? Also let's point out that ppl who decided to completely ignore the artisan skills and just grind have been fully geared in Journeyman gear (lvl20) from mob drops..

Something will need to be tweaked because crafting progression doesn't feel good at all. Its way too slow compared to grinding through mobs. Not only due to resources scarcity but just the fact that we don't even have the facilities to process / craft the journeyman stuff yet either.

On another note, the citizenship system is a little at odds with guild system. Sure its nice to have your guild all in one spot but it the way each node specializes in different artisan skills kinda makes that pointless. I just end up wanting to reside in the node where my artisan skill can be leveled because I need more storage there. So what is now happening is everyone is just scattered everywhere.. and whenever you need something from someone, you gotta run across the map 5 times over just to get all your materials from all your guildmates to get something crafted... it can be a lil tedious.

Also, on Lyneth, Journeyman Weaving is going to be located in New Aela.. but Journeyman Tailoring is located in Azmaran in the Desert.. how crappy will it be to travel back and forth between these nodes just to craft some gear all the time? This is just another contributing factor to why artisans are soo far behind compared to ppl who just ignore it all and grind mobs for gear.
