Was wondering what is presently considered a good/average amount of gold (individual wealth) to have since last wipe? is 20 gold considered a lot? 100, 200, more? I'm sure the spectrum of holdings varies individually but on average is 100 gold middle class, lower class, upper? Prefer objective versus subjective insights.

    More and more people are destroying caravans, so there is less profit by that. Why ? Probably because they are level 25 and there is nothing else to do in the server. Probably 10 to 30 gold if you have been making money the last week and not spending it.

    I would be interested to see actual survey data or something on the reasons behind why people are hitting caravans - if it's primarily as a means of profit/income or if it's just from having nothing else to do.

    It wouldn't surprise me if it was primarily only because people have nothing else to do at 25. I wonder if they still would if they had something else to work for (leveling higher than 25 or grinding end-game content).

    I have 30 gold or so. I spend most of my time gathering and processing and mostly sell anything above uncommon that I get from it. I sell low compared to others on the market, so I get coin each day I log in.

    However, I also don't buy a lot. I'm level 15.

    I have over 90G but its useless. Most of the freeholds were bought by exploiting guilds and there is nothing I want to buy but a crafting component here or there.

    Did you enchant your gear? Getting everything up to the basic +5 or so easily eats 30-50g.

    it takes like 100-200g to enchant a gear piece to +10 if ur lucky :p

    Fair point. I haven't done enchanting at all but it doesn't affect gathering or crafting which is my main focus.
