Why do you attack caravans? (Poll)

I understand you may have more than one reason, but I'm interested in what is the main reason - or the motivation that is most relevant to you.

    For many reasons really, with the % of successful caravans that have made it through to the number destroyed per Steven, their still seems to be a high success rate of making it. Many times if you get destroyed it's a case of wrong place, wrong time.

    For me it's because pvp is fun! What interests me about the game is the open world pvp and how that interacts with social/political dynamics. It can also be a way to get a lot of money for our guild and/or punish rivaling guilds. Launching a caravan can exponentially increase the amount of gold you have, but by design you can be attacked by literally anyone. I don't understand the entitlement some people have around feeling like you are not allowed to be attacked. PvP is a core part of this game!

    Because caravans can basically like 10-15x the value of your glint, this opens up so much potential for content. Maybe this means being sneaky with a caravan, or maybe this means grouping up to protect your caravans. Maybe this means allying with certain guilds, or maybe it means hiring a mercenary guild to protect you. Maybe a guild that controls a node sways the public by promising to protect caravans. Maybe this creates storylines with "evil" guilds. All of this is uniquely fun imo.
